In the coastal area of the municipality, along the seaside promenade there are a lot of taverns, bars, cafeterias and hotels. Thermaikos, having the view of the enlightened Thessaloniki, offers always a big pleasure for the visitors.
Recently the area close to the beach has been equipped with NERI poles and lanterns, this operation of beautification helps tourists to enjoy the atmosphere of the seashore by night and the very beautiful sight over the Gulf of Thessaloniki.
The design and project was studied and realized by the tecnical department of the municitality of Thermaikos.
