Palermo
The banderol at the base of the post bears the name of the Oretea foundry of Palermo, along with the date of completion: 1879. Four dog heads pop out from the column, richly adorned with patterns inspired by the plant world, while the top displays a representation of the Trinacria, a harp and two human faces. This art piece, unique and of great value, has been fully recovered thanks to a meticulous restoration.
