With an ambitious project, Venice Gardens Foundation has restored the extraordinary Royal Gardens, which had been in a state of abandonment until the beginning of 2020. The restoration work also included recovery of all the structures and lampposts in cast iron. The restoration of these elements was entrusted to Neri.

New Light for the Porticoes of Bologna
The Pavaglione portico, part of Bologna’s portico system recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was the focus of a redevelopment project led by Studio I-DEA, within which Neri completely restored the historic chandeliers, now equipped with LED technology to ensure greater efficiency and safety. The intervention involved a thorough conservative restoration: cleaning, structural reinforcement of the metal sheets, gold painting as per the original finish, and a new fastening system for the glass parts, now also protected by a transparent safety film. A precise and respectful work that brings to light Bologna’s historical identity and demonstrates how light can also be a tool for heritage preservation.
Pictor Urban Furniture Enhances Forte dei Marmi’s Cityscape
Essential design, bold character, flexible spirit: the Pictor urban furniture collection, developed in collaboration with the architecture studio Lombardini22, transforms public space into a dynamic and contemporary experience. Benches, planters, litter bins, bike racks, and bollards make up a modular collection designed to interact with any urban context. Each element, whether used individually or in combination, integrates seamlessly into the cityscape, offering endless configurations and visual connections. In Forte dei Marmi, the Pictor collection has taken shape along the town’s shopping streets: planters of various sizes, benches with and without backrests, litter bins, and other elements have created small green rest areas—welcoming and functional.
