Introducing Bollard Polis
Bollard Polis is the reinterpretation of a familiar shape, transformed into an urban design tool capable of creating a coherent and comfortable visual experience.
The strength of the project lies in its apparent simplicity: Neri revisits this element with distinctive details and formal balance, making it immediately recognizable. A sober yet expressive language, able to dialogue with contemporary architecture and historic contexts without losing personality. More than simply defining space, Polis shapes it: light guides the path, enhances safety, and transforms a passage into a place to be experienced.
The design of the two cones becomes an integral part of the project narrative. Pure expresses a clean, timeless aesthetic, while Carve, with its sculpted, tactile texture, introduces a bold graphic sign. Two coherent interpretations expand compositional possibilities and allow the creation of lighting scenarios with a clear identity.
The optical system is engineered to provide maximum lighting performance, ensuring uniformity, glare control, and high efficiency. Different light distributions (90°, 180°, and 360°) allow the light to be shaped according to context, ensuring visual comfort and perceptual quality of the space. Available in three heights (400, 800, and 1000 mm), Polis Bollard adapts naturally to any design scenario, from private gardens to large urban squares, enabling the creation of coherent and harmonious environments.
The integrated presence sensor enables smart light management, activating only when needed and optimizing spacing between bollards up to 10 meters. With Casambi integration, light intensity can be controlled immediately and intuitively via smartphone.
