The first designer. The person who shaped the company’s design philosophy and its lasting connection with art, beauty, and proportion.

In 1962, Domenico Neri began designing and producing public lighting fixtures. By the 1970s, he had begun to distinguish himself through his focus on historic city centres. Inspired by nineteenth-century designs and driven by his love for architecture, he created classic forms reimagined to suit a modern sensibility.

After exploring the world of light, and staying true to his distinctive style and use of cast iron, Domenico Neri expanded his creative vision to urban design. He created a wide range of pieces celebrated for their cultural, artistic, and material excellence, earning admiration and success across the globe.
