The optical system is composed of PMMA lenses with high light transmission performance that remains constant over time. Nova uses Lumileds Luxeon 5050 LEDs with very high luminous efficiency and longer lifespan. The wide emission surface and the peripheral reflector increase efficiency while maintaining low glare levels. Thanks to the flexible lens configuration, customised light distributions can be achieved.
Heat dissipation occurs through conduction via the contact between the aluminum housing of the heat sink and the external environment, allowing heat transfer. The internal finned structure of the heat sink enables natural air circulation, preventing localized heat buildup and improving thermal exchange between the air and the internal walls of the housing.
