Introduction

Neri SpA is constantly committed to the research and design of high-quality, long-lasting, and safe products. This manual aims to present the correct installation procedures for lighting fixtures, serving as a guide for professional installers. For this reason, it must be read carefully.

Labels

Warning and instruction adhesive labels are placed on the device, and the installer must strictly follow their indications. These labels may highlight specific features or provide other important information.

Orientation

The correct orientation is achieved by positioning the lighting fixture following the instructions inside the product.

Safety instructions

According to the various regulations in force in European and non-European countries, specific rules must be observed in the workplace. The safety instructions are not intended to alter or replace the aforementioned directives; their sole purpose is to emphasize or reinforce them. These safety prescriptions are intended for professional installers, who must carefully read and understand this installation manual.
WARNING! Failure to comply with the instructions in this manual increases the risk of accidents. Before performing any operation, wear: safety helmet, work gloves, safety shoes, and workwear.

Intended use

The lighting fixture has been manufactured in compliance with correct practice. Its lifespan and efficiency will be optimized if used correctly and maintained regularly. This device is intended solely for the purpose for which it was designed: the illumination of outdoor and indoor environments. Any other use is considered improper and dangerous, and the manufacturer cannot be held liable for damages resulting from improper or unreasonable use.

Maintenance

WARNING! Disconnect the device from the power supply.
Maintenance operations must be carried out by expert personnel only. These operations involve:During annual inspection operations, check the painted surfaces for signs of damage such as blistering or cracking. Should any such damage be found, intervene immediately to restore the paintwork. Contact Neri SpA for indications and materials to be used for retouching the paintwork.

Spare parts

The replacement of damaged parts with original spares must be carried out exclusively by expert personnel authorized by Neri SpA. Please contact Neri SpA directly for maintenance needs.
WARNING! The LED light source must be replaced only by the manufacturer or his customer service or by equally qualified.

Disposal

This product is marked in accordance with European Directives 2002/96/EC and 2002/96/EC (WEEE). The symbol on the product or accompanying documentation indicates that it must not be treated as household waste, but must be taken to appropriate collection points for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Proper disposal of this product helps prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health. Improper or illegal disposal may result in fines or legal sanctions. For more information about recycling collection points and proper disposal, contact your local authorities.

Intended use

The product has been manufactured in compliance with correct practice. Its duration and efficiency will be greater if used correctly and with regular maintenance operations. The product must be used exclusively for the purpose for which it was designed. Any other use is considered inappropriate and potentially dangerous and the manufacturer will not be liable for damages stemming from inappropriate use.

Maintenance operations must be carried out by suitably trained expert personnel, with the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.

Method

Neri products are designed to guarantee reliability, endurance and safety.

The paint applied by Neri to its products is formed of an organic coating that must be cleaned and maintained regularly in order to guarantee its decorative and protective properties.

The normal maintenance of Neri products may be carried out with an appropriate cleaning product, followed by rinsing with clean water using a soft cloth.

If the coating is very dirty (e.g. due to lack of maintenance), it is recommended to consult a specialist company.

Recommended cleaning products

Before carrying out any kind of cleaning, it is necessary to consult the data sheet of the detergent.

Normal maintenance may be carried out using water with a neutral detergent (pH 5-8).
If air pollution has caused a lot of build-up on the coating, there may be stains or marks that require the use of more aggressive household products, such as alcohol-based products, turpentine, white spirit or bleach (diluted to 5%). In this case, it is necessary to rinse the coating immediately after using the cleaning product. Abrasive detergents, varnishes and other detergents containing ketones and other detergents that may cause irreparable damage to the product must never be used.

Repair

To repair surface scratches, contact Neri, who will provide the necessary and appropriate operating instructions.

General requirements applicable to all Neri products in any material

Upon receipt of the goods, if it is not possible to proceed with installation and/or assembly within a few days, the plastic (nylon) packaging must be removed without fail. This is necessary to allow ventilation and prevent the formation of condensation, which could irreparably damage the products.

Exemption from liability

Neri assumes no liability for any damage to persons or property, including Neri products, resulting from cleaning and/or maintenance operations carried out not in accordance with the instructions provided by Neri, or otherwise performed incorrectly and/or inappropriately considering the nature of the product.
