How we design. How we produce. How we use materials and energy. How we think about durability, repair, reuse and, ultimately, the life of the things we create.
For Neri, this approach has always been closely connected to the idea of public space. Designing objects that become part of places, cities and everyday life means taking responsibility for their impact.
The Sustainability Report 2025 is our way of making this commitment more visible, structured and measurable.
Prepared voluntarily according to the VSME Standard, the report brings together our environmental, social and governance journey — documenting not only where we are today, but also the work already underway.
Over the past years, we have invested in renewable energy and energy efficiency, including the installation of a photovoltaic system for self-consumption. We have progressively improved our production processes, introduced water-based coating systems, worked on reducing emissions and strengthened the management and recovery of production waste.
Sustainability also takes shape in our products: through LED technology, energy efficiency, durability, repair and restoration, as well as through the development of Life Cycle Assessment studies and greater attention to recyclability and ecodesign.
And it is not only about the environment. It is also about people, safety, skills and the quality of the workplace — because responsible growth starts with the people who make it possible every day.
The report also looks ahead, identifying the areas where we want to do more: better monitoring of ESG performance, further improvements in energy efficiency, greater use of renewable energy, more detailed assessment of product impacts and increasingly structured goals.
Sustainability is a continuous process: understanding where we are today, measuring our impact and finding new ways to improve.
