Some places carry their history in the details. At Torre del Lago Puccini, overlooking Lake Massaciuccoli, Neri’s light has been part of the landscape for more than 40 years.

Since the 1980s, lamp posts and lanterns have traced the landscape through changing seasons, colours and atmospheres. Today, the original Sheliak poles return to their setting after a journey back to the factory, where they were restored and prepared to become part of the landscape once again.

The lanterns have evolved, too. Some have been renewed through refitting kits, bringing existing lighting installations into the LED era while preserving their original structures. Greater efficiency, improved lighting performance and energy savings, with a longer life for the installation.

Others now carry Light 803, the iconic lantern, reinterpreted with LED technology.

A dialogue between what remains and what evolves. Between memory and a new light.
