Made of die-cast aluminum, with an IP66 protection rating, the screen is 4 mm thick extra-clear transparent flat glass with a mechanical resistance index of IK08.
The optical system consists of overlapping PMMA lenses with high light transmission performance that remains constant over time. The wide emission surface and the peripheral reflector increase efficiency while maintaining low glare levels. Thanks to the flexible lens configuration, customised light distributions can be achieved.
Heat dissipation, which is crucial for system efficiency, has been properly integrated with the original aesthetic envisioned by the designer. Through channels dedicated to individual LEDs, physical contact between light source and aluminium cover ensures the right orientation of the transmitted heat. The system allows the luminaire to be used at temperatures up to 50°C, keeping the LED junction temperature below the threshold to guarantee the expected life
Designed with a push-button opening system that does not require any tools, Antares has been designed to facilitate the installation and maintenance of the product.
